The “Howland Room” at Lambton House was at capacity on the evening of September 21, to hear how four girls and a dog came close to losing their lives on the Humber River, in August of 1968. On hand were some of those who were there, including Garry Melville and Jill Elliott. Also in attendance was MPP for Parkdale/High Park, Bhutila Karpoche. See the short film below to learn the story.
